Check out the winning photos from Pakistan which won the Wiki Loves Earth photography competition.
The Wikimedia Foundation organized the Wiki Loves Earth contest, aimed at documenting the world’s entire natural heritage under the free license of Creative Commons.
Since 2013, Wiki loves earth competition has been taking place to highlight the natural heritage of different countries and this is the first time when Pakistan got participated in the competition.
A total of 8,500 contestants have taken part in the 2015 edition of the competition. From Pakistan, the number of contestants who participated numbered 1500 who submitted around 11,000 photographs.
As a general rule, photos available online are either copyrighted and watermarked but the best thing about 2015 competition is that all the photos have a free license, meaning the photos can be reused for any purpose.
Following are the top 10 pictures which have been chosen by Pakistan’s jury however international winners of the competition are yet to be announced.
